Kickstart Your Day: Easy Breakfast Meals
Hard Boiled Eggs
Ingredients: two eggs, four cups of water, and salt and pepper for taste. All of these ingredients are very cheap!
Directions: First put two eggs in a pot of water before the water starts to boil. Next bring the water to a boil and let the eggs cook in the pot for about fifteen minutes. Then drain all water out of the pot and rinse the eggs with cold water. Finally, peel the egg shell away and enjoy your fast and easy hard boiled eggs!
Ingredients: Two slices of bread (your choice of preference), one egg, one tablespoon of oil, half a teaspoon of vanilla, a half teaspoon of cinnamon (optional), and your favorite (or cheapest) syrup. Most of these ingredients are very affordable and can probably be found in your kitchen already!
Directions: First whisk the egg cinnamon and vanilla together in a bowl that will fit a slice of bread. Next place the bread in the bowl and flip so both sides soak in the already whisked ingredients. Once the bread is soaked, place the tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and start to heat it. Then place the bread in the pan for approximately two minutes on each side or unit gold and brown. Finally, once the bread is gold and brown, add your favorite syrup to the top (pour it up baby) and enjoy your very delicious and fast cooking French Toast!!
Look! You can even add some fruits for more taste and an ascetic look!
Cheap Killer Lunch Recipes
Ingredients: One pound of ground beef (your choice of brand), your favorite single package of taco seasoning, three quarters cup of water, lettuce, tomato, cheese, any other toppings you want (hot sauce recommended), and either hard or soft taco shells.
Directions: In a frying pan, cook the one pound of ground beef on medium heat until there is no pink showing in the beef. It is important to make sure that the beef is cooked. Then, if any, drain the grease from the frying pan. Next add the taco seasoning package to the ground beef along with the three quarters cup of water. Mix these ingredients well on a low heat within the pan. Finally, take the hard or soft taco shell and add as much beef as you want along with the cheese lettuce, tomato, and any other of your favorite toppings and enjoy! This process should take no longer than 15 minutes usually.
Any additional meat can be saved in the refrigerator for more tacos or a taco salad the next day!
English Muffin Pizza
Ingredients: One or two english muffins, one jar of pizza sauce, oregano seasoning, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, and any other topping that you desire.
Directions: First preheat the over to 350 degrees. Next, slice the english muffins in half and place on a cooking/baking sheet. After doing this you will want to spread the pizza sauce (as much as you’d like) on each english muffin. Then sprinkle oregano over the sauced muffin to add more taste. Next add the mozzarella cheese to each individual muffin along with any other toppings that you please! Once the oven is preheated, you then place the baking sheet in the oven and let it cook between 10 to 15 minutes.
Be careful to not let them burn by periodically checking on them. Once they are done you can then enjoy your homemade pizzas! Caution they will be very hot so wait for them to cool down.
Fast and Filling Dinner Platters
Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients: One piece of chicken, a package of brown rice, any vegetables of you choosing, a quarter cup of lemon concentrate, a quarter cup of vegetable oil, hot sauce, and any seasoning you’d like to add to the chicken or stir fry itself.
Directions: First cook the seasoned chicken on the grill or in a frying pan until it is completely cooked (no pink). Next follow the directions on the package of brown rice and cook until completion. After that is all done, put the vegetable oil in a frying pan or a wok. Then add the rice, chicken, and vegetables of your choice into the pan and cook on medium heat. Midway through this, add the lemon concentrate, hot sauce, and any seasoning that you would like to add to the stir fry. This should be a very fast cook after the chicken and rice are done because you are just heating the vegetables up to your liking.
Once all this is done you are ready to eat! Be careful, depending on how much hot sauce you added, this will be a very spicy meal!!
Pasta and Homemade Meatballs
Ingredients: One pound of ground beef, a teaspoon of oregano, a third cup of seasoned bread crumbs, one egg, a jar of spaghetti sauce, any toppings you usually like with your pasta, and the pasta of your choice.
Directions: First mix the ground beef, oregano, seasoned bread crumbs, and the egg and mix well with your hands. Once the meatball mixture has been well blended, you’re going to want to roll the bend into golf ball sized meatballs. Place the meatballs in a frying pan on medium heat and periodically flip/turn the meatballs so that they are evenly cooked. Once they are completely cooked through with no pink (should take around 10 minutes).
While the meatballs are cooking follow the directions on the label of the pasta you chose and cook until finished. This saves time and allows your meal to be ready sooner incase of a rush.
In a separate pan heat the jar of spaghetti sauce on a low heat until it comes to a boil. Make sure to stir this often so the sauce doesn’t burn.
Once the meatballs are fully cooked, add them to the sauce for about five minutes on medium heat for additional flavor to the sauce. Finally place all items onto a plate together and enjoy your homemade meatballs and pasta!!
